Welcome to my travel blog. My name is Melissa Zhang and I will be your captain for the ride.
Where to? Norway, Czech Republic, Italy, Mexico, California, Hong Kong, Sichuan, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa, and more.
What called this blog into being? My wonder for all the people and places which I have had the perfect chance to cross paths with.
I founded this website in June 2012. Despite taking publication breaks over the past 8 years, I have been working on your feedback to make my posts as instructive as they are reflective and descriptive.
I have never had more fun writing. As for my favorite part of the blog:
I would be delighted to host everyone for dinner and hear your stories.
It means the world for you to stop by and help me improve as a member of the travel and outdoors community. Please comment, critique, and follow!
I plan to carve out a section for my running adventures soon.
Cheers from the moving pinpoint,
P.S. Interested in working together or have an idea? My LinkedIn is here. Feel free to reach out!
In more or less this order:
- United States of America
- Hong Kong
- United Kingdom
- South Korea
- Czech Republic
- South Africa

Sounds like quite an adventure! Go Bears!
I miss California! I’m from Chico. Been there?
High density of bears (students) from that place! But no, Chico is on my list.
Many thanks for ‘following’ my blog – I’m looking forward to getting to know yours, but in the meantime, here’s a little Award to introduce you to my ‘friends’.
No pressure to pay it forward, but the Awards do help us make new ‘friends’ and widen our bloggting circles.
